Global Category Manager - Hard FM - £65,000 to £75,000 | 10% bonus, company car + full corporate benefits | Based out of either - London, Warwickshire or Hampshire

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market-leading, truly global business with diverse operations.

They are seeking an experienced Category Manager with extensive expertise in Hard FM spend areas, focusing on managing large value and complex projects.

The group function is undergoing a transformation, expanding its scope with ongoing opportunities for career progression.

Role and responsibilities:

• Report to the Head of Global Procurement - Facilities Management, within a team of colleagues at various levels
• Develop, design, and continuously improve category strategies
• Lead end-to-end sourcing within designated spend areas using a strategic approach
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to develop category strategies and planning
• Provide ongoing advice to stakeholders on market trends, innovations, and supplier market insights
• Manage and understand both regulated and unregulated complex projects
• Ensure strategic procurement delivers the best commercial value for the business

Experience required:

• Extensive category management experience in Hard FM
• Proven strategic category management in a large, complex organization
• Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings in a similar-sized business
• Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Board Level
• Strong stakeholder management skills, adaptable to different relationship types and maturity levels
• Experience working in a large, cross-functional procurement team
• MCIPS qualification preferred but not essential
