Global Category Manager - Hard FM - £65,000 to £75,000 | 10% bonus, company car + full corporate benefits | Based out of either London, Warwickshire or Hampshire

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Category Manager with extensive Hard FM spend expertise, focusing on managing large, complex projects.

The group is undergoing a transformation, expanding its function and offering opportunities for progression.

Role and responsibilities:

• Report to the Head of Global Procurement - Facilities Management, within a team of colleagues at various levels
• Develop, design, and improve category strategies
• Lead end-to-end sourcing within designated spend areas using strategic approaches
• Collaborate with senior business leaders to develop category strategies and planning
• Provide ongoing advice to stakeholders on market trends, innovations, and supplier market knowledge
• Manage and understand both regulated and unregulated complex projects
• Ensure strategic procurement delivers the best commercial value for the business

Experience required:

• Extensive category management experience in Hard FM
• Proven strategic category management in large, complex organizations
• Track record of delivering savings in similar-sized businesses
• Ability to engage, negotiate, and influence senior stakeholders up to Board level
• Strong stakeholder management skills with adaptable approaches
• Experience working in large, cross-functional procurement teams
• MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
