We are seeking a Procurement Category Manager to lead the delivery of indirect category strategies, governance, and policies. The role involves delivering value through strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier relationship management.
Procurement functions as a shared service within the Finance Department, collaborating across the National Centres of Innovation (NCIs) to provide cost-effective finance services. We are building a dedicated team to enhance value for money, improve supplier and contract management, and adopt best procurement practices.
The main purpose is to develop and implement Category Strategies, policies, and processes. You will manage procurement activities, improve reporting and compliance, and lead strategic sourcing initiatives, focusing on delivering value and managing risks associated with suppliers.
