Sainsbury's Limited is seeking a Procurement Buyer to own the Data Governance and Information Security category within Technology Services, Infrastructure and Strategy. You will manage a large portfolio of high-value projects and drive category strategy while building strong relationships with senior leaders.

The role offers hybrid work with monthly office visits (London, Coventry or Manchester) and the chance to influence procurement direction across a FTSE business.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology procurement and category management.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume portfolio of complex, high-value projects.
• End-to-end sourcing and commercial negotiation.
• Strong stakeholder relationships including senior leaders.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into practical category solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own Data Governance and Information Security category, managing a portfolio of around 30–40 concurrent projects.
• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies for security technology solutions.
• Lead commercial tenders and negotiations; ensure compliance with Procurement Policy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to maintain relationships.
• Keep multiple workstreams moving and balance stakeholder priorities.
• Travel to office locations occasionally and work from home the rest of the time.
