Job summary

Nomad Digital is seeking a Procurement Buyer to join the global Procurement department. You will partner with suppliers to strengthen the supply chain and deliver group procurement processes, contract management and SLAs for a defined expenditure group.

The role focuses on sourcing, supplier relationships, achieving annual savings, and ensuring compliance across projects, with continued emphasis on stock management and system improvements.

Qualifications

• CIPS or equivalent qualification is required.
• Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain or related discipline required.
• Minimum 5 years working in a procurement role or equivalent.
• Some experience of working in or managing projects representing procurement as a function.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems such as NetSuite.
• Working knowledge of contract management processes and practices.
• Experience of leading and working within multi stakeholder groups across organisation.

Responsibilities

• Supports the procurement & supply chain director with all group related procurement policy and any associated processes and reporting requirements
• Represents procurement at internal project meetings ensuring that all requirements are met as per project deadlines and timeframes in addition to communicating with stakeholders as necessary
• Regular engagement with suppliers to build strong partnerships as well as support delivery performance, quality management and risk management and ensure continuity and compliance within the business
• Leads sourcing activity for both direct and indirect categories ensuring that quality/cost/delivery is built into any process to ensure the most efficient solution is delivered in line with group procurement processes
• Deliver any contract management requirements and supplier relationship management for any supplier expenditure both existing and any newly created contracting arrangements
• Deliver annual savings target in line with group procurement delivery plan, based on both direct and indirect expenditure
• Manage logistics and stock requirements as well as supporting stock reduction activities across the business.
• Ensure that adequate stock and lead‑time information is communicated to all internal stakeholders to support projects
• Identify system improvements in line with business objectives
• Management and update of Nomad internal IT systems ensuring processes are followed and applied

Overview

Nomad Digital are on the look out for a Procurement Buyer to join our global Procurement department. The successful individual will be responsible for working in partnership with Nomad's suppliers to strengthen our global supply‑chain. As Procurement Buyer the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of group procurement processes supporting the business plus any associated contract management and service level agreements for a specified group of supplier expenditure
