Job Opportunity: Procurement Bids Manager

Salary: £85k plus a generous car allowance and bonus

ProcureOne is currently recruiting for a first-class Procurement Bids Manager to join a growing infrastructure organization.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading a team of approximately 7 members and contributing to the organization's bids for works and services.
2. Leading the Procurement Category Team and developing new and established contracts.
3. Procuring, awarding, and mobilizing supply chains to support organizational growth.
4. Driving value through the supply chain, managing large multi-million pound contracts.
5. Managing a diverse team responsible for collecting all supply chain costs for bid submissions.
6. Leading client-facing presentations.
7. Ensuring follow-on long-term contracts are tendered and contracts are enabled.
8. Managing supply chain engagement and interface.
9. Attending governance and portfolio review meetings.
10. Managing compliance with all business, governance, and legislative policies, including competition law, internal contract governance, and portfolio boards.

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience in Procurement Bids Management.
• Ability to lead and coach a team.
• Ideally, sector experience in private utilities, rail, airports, ports, defence, or nuclear.
• CIPS qualification preferred.
• Current UK right to work.
• Ability to commute to the London office at least 3 days a week.
