Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property in Desford, UK, is seeking an Associate Procurement Professional for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on generating and managing purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, and supporting NPI material deliveries.

You will handle invoice queries and ensure accurate pricing in ERP systems. The ideal candidate has purchasing/administrative experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable following compliance-driven processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a purchasing, procurement, purchasing administration, or similar administrative environment.
• Administrative experience involving purchasing, procurement, ordering, invoices, or similar transaction activities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to follow compliance-driven processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in Power BI, ERP Systems, and similar applications is required.

Responsibilities

• You will generate and manage both production contract and single definite purchase orders to fulfil business requirements.
• You will be raising purchase orders as part of the daily operations.
• You will liaise with suppliers regarding material deliveries for prototype and engineering requirements.
• You will oversee the delivery of materials to support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
• You will manage invoice queries and discrepancies.
• You will resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payment processing.
• You will update and maintain purchasing systems with accurate and up-to-date pricing details.
• You will provide accurate data to assist Buyers and professionals in areas such as Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to ensure efficient operations.
• You will ensure continuous compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements and assist with internal and external audit assessments as needed.
