Job summary

83zero Limited in Desford is seeking an Associate Procurement Professional to join a busy purchasing team in a large-scale manufacturing operation. You will raise and manage purchase orders for production, review supplier quotes, and own purchasing activity from order placement to invoice resolution.

Working with suppliers, category buyers, finance and internal stakeholders, you will analyse data, present findings, and support process improvements while following established purchasing

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain administration.
• Strong attention to detail and methodical approach within defined processes.
• Excellent communication with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive with ownership to see issues through to resolution.
• Structured, process-driven in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organised.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders for production requirements.
• Review and validate supplier quotes from category buyers.
• Take ownership of commodities and purchasing from order to invoice.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment issues with suppliers and AP.
• Work with internal teams to resolve purchasing queries.
• Collect and analyse purchasing data to support projects and decisions.
• Present project findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Follow purchasing processes and support audits.
