Job summary

Kelling Group Limited is seeking an Assistant Buyer in the United Kingdom to support the procurement team with sourcing, pricing and purchasing activities. The role involves maintaining pricing information, analysing supplier pricing trends and assisting procurement decisions.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience, familiarity with Syrinx, and strong analytical and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or qualification through experience in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is desirable.
• Familiarity with Syrinx or other inventory management systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Support: assist in sourcing, negotiating and purchasing goods and services within budget.
• Pricing and Data Management: maintain pricing databases and update supplier pricing as markets change.
• Administrative Duties: prepare purchase orders, resolve invoice discrepancies and maintain procurement records.
• Strategic Procurement Decisions: support pricing discussions led by the procurement team and contribute to cost efficiencies.
