Job summary
QUINTESSENTIAL BRANDS UK GROUP LTD. is seeking an Assistant Buyer to support the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating and purchasing goods and services.
The role focuses on maintaining pricing accuracy, analysing supplier pricing trends, and facilitating procurement decision-making processes, reporting to the Group Procurement Manager. The office-based position in Normanton requires strong analytical and negotiation skills, experience with Syrinx or similar systems, and proficiency in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a purchasing/procurement role desirable.
- Familiarity with Syrinx or other inventory management systems advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing, negotiating and purchasing goods and services within budget.
- Maintain supplier relationships for timely delivery and pricing.
- Monitor supplier performance and report discrepancies.
- Manage price lists and update pricing databases.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documents.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
