Job summary

Rivan Industries is seeking an elite Supply Chain Manager to own the end-to-end procurement and supply chain for manufacturing our first 50, 1MW synthetic fuel systems. You will source raw materials, manage supplier performance, and align BOM costs with engineering targets.

This is an in-person role at our Bermondsey HQ in South London with relocation support. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, a degree in engineering, and the ability to build resilient, cost-efficient supply chains

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering required.
• Own end-to-end supply chain for manufacturing systems.
• Procurement of raw materials and components with BOM cost targets.
• In-person work at HQ in Bermondsey, South London with relocation support.

Rivan Industries (Rivan.com) is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise heavy industry. We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground.

We design and manufacture modular synthetic fuel plants consisting of a DAC system, an Alkaline Electrolyser, and a Sabatier Reactor, whilst vertically integrating with off-grid DC solar and the European gas-grid. We are graduating from R&D to large scale manufacturing - starting at our new 60,000 sq ft factory in central London.

We are looking for an elite supply chain manager to build and own our procurement and supply chain functions, creating the end-to-end structures and partnerships required for us to manufacture our first 50, 1MW, synthetic fuel systems.

The role:

Own the end-to-end supply chain for manufacturing our systems

Procurement of Raw material & component procurement. Including:

• Working closely with the engineering team to spec components, systems or materials to achieve BOM cost targets.
• Strategic sourcing of key raw materials & components, ensuring supply chain resilience and optimisation
• Competitive bid sourcing, tendering and contracting
• Creating a supplier base and streamlining the ordering process
• Accountability for supplier performance and delivery
• Responsible for supplier due diligence, compliance and risk

Cost & speed optimisation

• Close collaboration with Finance to report progress against BOM KPIs

Demand planning & Storage

• Aligning manufacturing with financing, permitting and deployment
