Role Purpose

Responsible for researching, providing, and analyzing data used to inform Category Sourcing Strategies and tactical procurement arrangements. This includes spend data, market data, supplier and supply chain data, product data, service data, and trends.

Job Responsibilities

1. Research, analyze, and provide comprehensive data on site spend and procurement activity.
2. Develop automation of data production to enhance decision-making and sourcing strategies.
3. Collate, manipulate, analyze, and report data from various sources, including spend, supplier, market, economic, carbon reduction, and geographical data.
4. Design, develop, and produce reports and dashboards to present information such as spend analysis, geographic risk, opportunities, and contract health.
5. Assist with supplier engagement and gather market and economic data to identify trends and key insights.
6. Maintain databases and spreadsheets, manipulate large data sets, and produce reports with charts, tables, and dashboards.

Person Specification

• Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related fields.
• Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, databases, and MS Office Suite.
• Problem-solving skills and a methodical approach.
• Ability to plan and meet deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• SAP experience and knowledge of Category Management and Project Management.
• Stakeholder management skills.
