Job Description

Role Purpose: Responsible for researching, providing, and analyzing data to inform Category Sourcing Strategies and tactical procurement arrangements, including spend data, market data, supplier and supply chain data, product data, service data, and trends.

Job Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and provide comprehensive data on site spend and procurement activity.
• Develop automation of data production to improve decision-making and sourcing strategies.
• Collate, manipulate, analyze, and report on data from various sources, including spend, supplier, market, economic, carbon reduction, and geographical data.
• Design, develop, and produce reports and dashboards to present information such as spend analysis, geographic risk, opportunities, and contract health.
• Assist with supplier engagement and gather market and economic data to identify trends and key insights.
• Maintain databases and spreadsheets, handle large data sets, and produce reports with charts, tables, and dashboards.

Person Specification

• Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related fields.
• Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, databases, and MS Office Suite.
• Problem-solving skills and a methodical approach.
• Ability to plan, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• SAP experience.
• Knowledge of Category Management and Project Management.
