Role Purpose

Responsible for researching, provisioning, and analyzing data to inform Category Sourcing Strategies and tactical procurement, including spend data, market data, supplier and supply chain data, product data, service data, and trends.

Job Responsibilities

1. Research, analyze, and provide comprehensive data on site spend and procurement activity.
2. Develop automation of data production to improve decision-making and sourcing processes.
3. Collate, manipulate, analyze, and report data from various sources, including spend, supplier, market, economic, carbon reduction, and geographical data.
4. Design, develop, and produce reports and dashboards, such as spend analysis, geographic risk and opportunity, and contract health.
5. Assist with supplier engagement and gather market and economic data to identify trends and key insights.
6. Maintain databases and spreadsheets, manipulate large data sets, and produce reports using charts, tables, and dashboards.

Person Specification

• Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or related fields.
• Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.

• Proficiency with MS Excel, databases, and MS Office Suite.
