Job summary

Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for reliable Processing Operators to join our manufacturing team at the Cotes Park site. You will operate production equipment, handle raw materials and help ensure products are manufactured to highest quality standards.

Responsibilities include weighing materials, following batch sheets, conducting equipment checks and maintaining accurate production records while prioritising safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or processing environments preferred.
• Experience in chemical, food or pharmaceutical production advantageous.
• Basic understanding of production processes and safe working practices.
• Good numeracy and literacy.

• Accurately weigh and add raw materials to production batches.
• Follow batch sheets to ensure product quality meets specification.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Maintain a clean, tidy production environment (5S).
• Identify and report any process deviations, faults or safety concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing and mixing equipment in line with standard operating procedures
• Accurately weigh, measure and add raw materials to production batches
• Follow batch sheets and ensure product quality meets specification
• Carry out routine equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks
• Complete production records and documentation accurately
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised production environment (5S standards)
• Identify and report any process deviations, faults or safety concerns

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or processing environment is preferred
• Experience within chemical, food or pharmaceutical production would be advantageous
• Basic understanding of production processes and safe working practices
• Good standard of numeracy and literacy
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
