Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Process Technologist to monitor and optimise chemical processes at our Maidstone outskirts site. You will cover for the Manufacturing Development Manager when required, conduct routine quality checks and maintain safety and quality documentation.

The role involves trials to improve manufacturing processes, collaboration with production teams and external suppliers, and occasional overnight travel for projects. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Competenze

• Process Technologist with manufacturing or QC experience.
• Ability to stand in for the Manufacturing Development Manager.
• Knowledge of water treatment or environmental compliance is advantageous.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Understanding of chemical processes and safety procedures (COSHH).

Mansioni

• Monitor chemical processes and treatment programmes to meet operational and cost targets.
• Cover for the Manufacturing Development Manager when needed.
• Perform routine quality checks and maintain testing equipment calibration.
• Keep chemical safety docs and quality records up to date.
• Plan trials to test process improvements and optimise systems.
• Investigate quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and suppliers to improve process performance and cut costs.
• Maintain stock records, monitor usage and coordinate replenishment.
• Carry out sampling, testing and analysis for water treatment operations.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and participate in on-site projects.
