Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Process Technologist to support quality control, process chemistry and site-wide improvements on a manufacturing site near Maidstone. You will monitor and optimise chemical processes, maintain records and support environmental compliance.

The role involves trialing improvements, coordinating stock and assisting with scheduled duties, with on-call responsibilities and occasional overnight stays. Excellent technical mindset required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or quality control environments.
• Ability to cover for Manufacturing Development Manager when needed.
• Knowledge of water treatment, effluent management or environmental compliance is useful.
• Understanding of quality management systems like ISO 9001 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor chemical processes and treatment programmes while controlling costs.
• Oversee routine quality checks and calibration of testing equipment.
• Maintain safety, quality and hygiene records and conduct sampling/logging.
• Coordinate stock control and replenishment to ensure adequate supplies.
• Suggest improvements to processes and site treatment systems.
• Support on-call duties and occasionally work off-site or overnight.
