Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Water Process Technician to join the Water Supply Team in the Peterborough area. The role involves hands-on operation of water treatment sites, monitoring processes, operating equipment and ensuring quality compliance.

Full training will be provided, with involvement in a standby rota for out-of-hours support. This permanent, full-time position offers a clear career path and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a process driven industry.
• You’ll need a flexible approach to working hours as you could be required to take part in a standby rota.
• Excellent communication skills.
• You will benefit from access to a company vehicle, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
• There is a requirement to obtain your Water Licence to Operate qualification.

Responsibilities

Salary – Circa £31,756 rising with experience

Location: Peterborough, Corby, Rutland and surrounding areas

Permanent, 37 hours per week, full time + Overtime

This team-oriented position will see you joining our Water Supply Team, ensuring that the Water Supply process delivers treated water by carrying out vital routine operations.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operational running of water treatment sites. Operating machinery, monitoring processes and problem solving across several sites will all be part of this varied role, as well as maintaining quality compliance and adhering to company policies and procedures.

We’ll provide full and on-going training to help you to understand in detail the water treatment process, you will train alongside an experienced Technician to ensure you gain all the skills and knowledge required, whilst also being involved in a Rota for standby to support out of hours.
