Are you a Process Technologist with experience in the food manufacturing industry looking to join a successful & continually expanding company with a global reach in a challenging and fast-paced innovative role?

This role offers the chance to oversee initial recipe conception through to launch on a global basis, focusing on food safety, quality, market trends, and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Process Technologist with a background in food manufacturing/production, assisting in delivering new products and customer launches as part of a passionate team.

The role includes:

• Driving the development of quality and safe products considering product parameters and customer requirements
• Ensuring ingredient and product information accuracy in the NPD system
• Building relationships with manufacturers, understanding capabilities, and collaborating with development teams to create products efficiently from concept to launch
• Generating product labelling compliant with legislation, including proofreading from design to printing
• Creating internal and external project documentation
• Attending factory trials and product launches across the UK
• Investigating food trends and competitor activity globally and locally

The person:

• BSc in Food Science/Technology (or similar) with at least 3 years' experience in NPD/process within FMCG
• Knowledge of UK labelling legislation
• A self-starter with initiative, multitasking ability, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment as part of a passionate team
• A strong interest in food and awareness of market trends
