Contract type: Permanent

Full/Part-time: Full-time

Hours: 38 hours per week plus the inclusion onto a standby rota for which you will receive additional payments

Salary: Offering a salary from £25,000 per annum depending on your level of experience

Job grade: A

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to take on the important role of Process Technician with our Camberley treatment catchment area.

As the successful candidate, you will be working alongside a multiskilled team who are passionate about delivering results and great service for our customers.

What you’ll be doing as the Process Technician (Waste)
  • Carrying out scheduled planned maintenance work on plant and equipment in compliance with company standards and procedures to improve plant resilience.
  • Operating and cleaning plant and equipment to ensure on-site operational and health and safety standards are maintained.
  • Attending to reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure.
  • Keeping sites clean and tidy and undertaking safety and security checks.
  • Always working safely and complying with all Health and Safety guidance and procedures.

Working Pattern: 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 3:36 pm plus the inclusion on a standby rota for which you will receive additional payments.

What you should bring to the role

  • Be a self-motivated individual who can immerse themselves into the team around them, you need to be very disciplined, have the desire to learn from those around you, and have a can-do attitude. This role can be demanding at times but very rewarding too.
  • Take ownership of responding quickly to faults, being curious to fully understand the problem, and identifying the best solution to resolve it the first time.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the team.
  • Deliver exceptional service through an enthusiastic and positive approach, taking accountability for your role while working accurately and flexibly within a busy team.
  • Teamwork – We are one team, and our end goals are the same.
  • Proactive – take the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site and communicate effectively.
  • Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures including Confined Space Entry.
  • Knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards.
  • Due to the nature of the role, you must have a full UK driving Licence.
