Job summary

Thames Water is looking for a Process Technician to join the Camberley STW site on a full-time, permanent basis. Starting salary is £29,349 per year, with flexibility based on experience. No prior water industry experience is required; candidates from other sectors are encouraged to apply.

This front-line role operates outdoors across multiple sites and supports essential sewage treatment operations. You will perform planned maintenance, operate and clean plant, and address reactive issues to

Qualifications

Be self-motivated and able to work in a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive in identifying improvements and leading safety
Knowledge of health and safety standards
Full UK driving licence required
Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

Perform planned preventative maintenance on plant and equipment to improve reliability
Operate and clean plant to meet on-site health and safety standards
Attend reactive jobs following equipment failure
Keep sites clean and tidy and carry out safety and security checks
Carry out daily site checks to ensure compliant operation
