Our client in Cookstown is looking for Production Process Technicians/Operatives and Whey CIP Technicians with immediate start.

This full-time role offers fixed shifts, including:

• 7am-7pm/7pm-7am - 3 days on, 3 days off, 3 nights on

Job role:

As a Cheese and Whey Technician, you will develop a high level of cheese and whey process knowledge. The role requires candidates interested in acquiring specialist skills in cheese making and capable of operating highly automated production facilities to produce quality cheese, from pasteurisation through curd production to finished product. This role also involves whey processing. Full training will be provided to develop a comprehensive understanding of the processes involved.

This is a key role within our cheese making operation. We seek energetic, driven individuals eager to develop skills, take responsibility, and be part of a successful team. Candidates with a background in food processing, technical, or engineering, and preferably a third-level food science qualification, are ideal. A good work ethic, reliability, cooperativeness, and flexibility are essential. Previous processing experience is desirable.
