Job summary

Randstad Inhouse Services is seeking an Operations Technician in Witney to work directly with state-of-the-art automated machinery, maintaining high quality and GMP standards.

The role runs on a night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), 4-on 4-off, at a modern facility that prioritizes safety and continuous improvement. Applicants should be detail-minded and able to follow SOPs while developing technical skills via ETMS.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of GMP and quality standards.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated machinery for product assembly, sensor production, and chemical solution prep.
• Perform visual and instrumental checks on materials and finished goods per GMP.
• Maintain 6S workspace and COSHH/EHS safety guidelines.
• Log batch records and compliance data using digital interfaces (HMI, POMS, ETMS).
• Suggest workflow improvements on the shop floor.

Step into a modern manufacturing hub and work directly with next-generation automated machinery. We are looking for a precision-minded Operations Technician to join our flagship Witney facility, where technology and operational excellence drive everything we do.

Location: Witney

Pay Rate: £17.19 / hour (night rate)

Shift Pattern: Night shift, 4-on 4-off (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Work Environment: Modern, automated, continuous-improvement focused facility

What You'll Do

• Work directly with cutting-edge automated machinery for product assembly, sensor production, and chemical solution preparation.
• Ensure top-tier standards by performing visual and instrumental checks on raw materials and finished goods in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Maintain a clean, pristine workspace following 6S principles and COSHH/EHS safety guidelines.
• Use digital interface systems (HMI, POMS, ETMS) to log batch records and maintain accurate compliance data.
• Share your ideas on the floor to make workflows leaner, safer, and more efficient.
