Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Water Process Technician to support the day-to-day operations of our water treatment sites. You will be involved in operating equipment, monitoring processes and ensuring quality compliance while delivering reliable treated water across several sites.

You will receive comprehensive training and participate in a standby rota. A UK driving licence and Water Licence to Operate are required, with further training provided to gain all necessary skills.

Qualifications

• You must be a problem solver and willing to learn about water production processes.
• Able to work in a process-driven environment.
• Flexible approach to standby rota and working hours.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Salary – Circa £31,756 rising with experience

Location: Peterborough, Corby, Rutland and surrounding areas

Permanent, 37 hours per week, full time + Overtime

This team-oriented position will see you joining our Water Supply Team, ensuring that the Water Supply process delivers treated water by carrying out vital routine operations.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operational running of water treatment sites. Operating machinery, monitoring processes and problem solving across several sites will all be part of this varied role, as well as maintaining quality compliance and adhering to company policies and procedures.

We’ll provide full and on-going training to help you to understand in detail the water treatment process, you will train alongside an experienced Technician to ensure you gain all the skills and knowledge required, whilst also being involved in a Rota for standby to support out of hours.

• Are you a problem solver and are you willing to learn about Water production processes
• Ability to work within a process driven industry
• You’ll need a flexible approach to working hours as you could be required to take part in a standby rota
• Excellent communication skills
• You will benefit from access to a company vehicle, so a full UK driving licence is essential
• There is a requirement to obtain your Water Licence to Operate qualification
