This full time Process Technician position at Redhill Earlswood SPS offers a competitive salary starting from £29,349, dependent on skills and experience.

Working outdoors in all weather, the successful candidate carries out planned preventative maintenance and varied tasks across several sites, keeping sewage treatment functions running reliably for customers while safeguarding the environment. No prior waste or water sector background is required; applications from outside the industry are welcomed. This front-line post suits someone practical and dependable, with strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn. Every shift differs, combining hands‑on equipment checks with routine upkeep. Training and support are provided, making this an ideal entry point into essential utility operations.

About the role

We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to join our team at Redhill Earlswood SPS. You do not need a background in the waste or water industry. We would welcome applications from candidates outside of the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas. This role is an essential front-line role, which the business simply cannot operate without you. Every day is different; you will be working in all weather conditions carrying out a range of tasks across multiple sites to ensure the essential functions of our sewage treatment works operate to maintain the supply to our customers and protect the environment. Planned preventative maintenance of equipment to support the operation of the plant. What you’ll be doing as the Process Technician

• Carrying out scheduled planned maintenance work on plant and equipment in compliance with company standards and procedures to improve plant resilience.
• Operating and cleaning plant and equipment to ensure on‑site operational and health and safety standards are maintained.
• Attending reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure.
• Keeping sites clean and tidy and undertaking safety and security checks.
• Carrying out daily site checks to ensure compliant operation.

Base Location

Redhill, Earlswood SPS – RH1 5HE

Working Pattern

38 Hours Monday - Friday 7:30 am – 15:36 plus Standby rota payments & Overtime opportunities can increase your earning potential upon completion of essential company training. Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a full UK driver's licence.

• Proactive – take the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site and communicate effectively.
• Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures.
• Knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards.
• Full UK driver's licence.
