Overview

A global pharmaceutical company is recruiting Process Technicians for Flu manufacturing. The roles require talented, adaptable individuals who can operate to high standards with a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance. The successful candidates will contribute to establishing new operational areas within Manufacturing. The role will involve 12-hour day and night shifts, 4 on 4 off (days or 2 days/2 nights). 6-8 week assignment (to be confirmed before starting). Salary: £20.36 to £22.15 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure appropriate control, monitoring and delivery of activities in their area of work and that all departmental SOPs and MIs are followed.
  • Complete documentation accurately and timely, and have it signed by the relevant personnel.
  • Carry out final documentation review and sign off to ensure documentation is right first time.
  • Maintain compliance with Health and Safety regulations; demonstrate behaviours to promote a safe working environment.
  • Update existing SOPs and MIs as required; perform regular reviews and initiate new documentation as appropriate.
  • Maintain and promote a cGMP-compliant culture, apply housekeeping and safety standards per CFR regulations, and apply Lean Manufacturing, Problem Solving, 5S, Waste Elimination and Energy Efficiency practices to support Continuous Improvement.
  • Maximise individual contribution to achieve team objectives; work as a collaborative team member and provide/receive feedback with team members and their team leader.
  • Communicate and liaise with other teams, customers and suppliers to meet business objectives; suggest solutions to issues that may arise.
  • Attend all compulsory and allocated training; ensure training is completed promptly and personal records are kept up to date; continue developing skills, competencies and behaviours for current and future business needs.
  • Demonstrate safe working practices in compliance with UK legislation, mandatory policies, guidelines and site procedures for Health, Safety and Environment.
