Job Title: Process Technician – Mechanic

Location:

West Sussex - willingness to travel across multiple sites and hold a current full driving licence required.

Contract Details:

• Type: Permanent
• Hours: 38 hours/week
• Salary: £36,954.02 to £44,344.09 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)

Qualifications:

Level 3 NVQ required. Experience and qualifications in mechanical and electrical work are advantageous. A driving license is mandatory.

Additional Requirements:

The role involves standby duties, which attract additional payments and overtime, potentially increasing earnings by up to £10,000 annually.

Role Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair wastewater treatment works, sludge treatment centres, and pumping stations to meet environmental, quality, and customer service standards while complying with H&S legislation and budget targets.

Utilize mechanical knowledge to ensure compliance, reduce pollution, and keep sites operational. Opportunities to innovate and improve processes are available.

Candidate Profile:

• Understanding of pumping station operation and wastewater treatment processes
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues
• Excellent communication skills for technical interactions with contractors
