Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Process Shift Technician in Hull for a shift-based role covering days and nights. The position offers a permanent contract with training provided to develop in a manufacturing and laboratory setting, ensuring products meet customer specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining production standards, testing materials, and supporting production schedules while working across laboratory and manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work areas comply with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain technical standards within the production process.
• Issue blending and packing instructions per production schedules.
• Test products against required specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to meet specifications.
• Complete testing of process materials and take corrective actions.
• Maintain records and archived samples for QA and customer enquiries.
• Prepare and package samples for customers.
• Collaborate with Shift Supervisors to meet production schedules.
• Provide instructions and support to Production Operatives.
• Liaise with Maintenance to resolve process issues.
• Investigate non-conforming materials and identify root causes.
• Support efficient and cost-effective use of materials.
