Job summary

O-I is seeking a Process Shift Operator to join our production team. You will inspect and operate packaging equipment in the cold end, ensuring each container is ready for shipment while following safety procedures.

In a rotating shift, you will support hot end operations to maintain high quality and efficiency. We value careful attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and teamwork across production shifts.

Job Description

Our Process Shift Operators are inspectors. Process shift operators in our cold end area operate our inspection and packaging equipment, ensuring that each container is ready to ship to our customers. They respect operating procedures and safety tools to protect their own safety and that of their colleagues. Within our continuous shift operation, our hot end operators work in challenging conditions to create products that delight our customers.

A successful Process Shift Operator is someone who knows the importance of urgency in the manufacturing process, appreciates that achieving operational targets and efficiencies goes beyond meeting business objectives and is our responsibility in creating a sustainable future and preserving natural resources.
