Job summary

O-I in the United Kingdom is seeking a production line operator to run one of three lines, ensuring smooth operation and packing high-quality products. You will perform quality checks, report findings and help resolve issues while keeping materials stocked and the area safe.

We operate a 4 on, 4 off, 12-hour shift pattern year-round. The role includes a shift allowance and benefits such as 26 days holiday, a pension scheme, onsite parking, uniform, life insurance, an employee assistance

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
• Ability to work safely ensuring health and safety of yourself and others.
• Clear communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in a process manufacturing environment, ideally glass or packaging.
• Experience of working shifts.

Responsibilities

• Run one of three production lines and ensure smooth operation.
• Carry out quality checks and feedback findings.
• Work to resolve issues and maintain safe, efficient lines.
• Ensure materials are stocked and the working area is hazard-free.
