Job summary

SGL Carbon Fibers is seeking 6 Process Operators for our Production Department in the United Kingdom. The role involves testing, inspections, basic maintenance, and rotating duties to ensure all line activities are covered and people are cross-trained.

Starting as soon as possible, you will work on all line processes to meet production plans and safety standards, with benefits including a company pension, bonus schemes, and health programmes.

Responsibilities

Carry out tests and inspections on product and plant as described in Work Instructions to ensure optimal operations.
Perform basic maintenance and laboratory tasks as defined in the Line Check List to maximise efficiency.
This position will be rotated with other members of the team with the aim that all members will be come qualified and experienced on all activities on the line over time.
Within individual range of competence to assist in or set up, operate and close down the process equipment as directed to meet the production plan
Contribute to the team activity of ensuring appropriate resources are available for the shift
Ensure efficient and complete handover to colleague on proceeding and following shift to maintain required manufacturing
To work on all line and ancillary processes to meet Company objectives for customer service, Health & Safety, manufacturing efficiency, Environmental and Quality
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping to minimise hazards and accidents.

We are looking for 6 x Process Operators to join our Production Department. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity.
