Job description

The role involves manufacturing animal feed through various processes, maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and efficiency. The successful candidate will work shifts.

Tasks and responsibilities as a Shift Operator:

  1. Operate blending, pelleting, and master weigh processes efficiently to meet production schedules.
  2. Communicate any issues or delays to colleagues and other departments.
  3. Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
  4. Optimize the use of finished product bin space.
  5. Ensure site processes and standards comply with the UFAS code of practice.
  6. Participate in the Tier accountability process and update the daily visual board.

Your CV should demonstrate:

  • Experience with process control systems (desirable).
  • Counterbalance FLT license (desirable).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
