Job summary

Dunbia Sawley is seeking motivated individuals to join our food production teams in Sawley, near Gisburn. Roles involve working on production lines with two shifts Monday to Friday, either 6:00–14:30 or 15:15–23:45.

Full training is provided, with progression opportunities including butchery skills training. We value reliability, teamwork, and a careful approach to following procedures in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work within departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain pace of work to production needs (filling bags and crates).
• Collaborate with Managers and Team to hit department targets and ensure specs are met.
• Keep work area clean and tidy; follow Health, Safety and Hygiene standards.
• Be flexible and willing to learn, both independently and as part of a team.
• Full training provided with progression opportunities, including butchery skills training.

The successful candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional quality for our customers. There are 2 shifts available, both working Monday to Friday.

Shifts are either 6am to 2.30pm, or 3.15pm to 11.45pm.

Responsibilities

• To work within departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain the pace of work in line with production needs in terms of filling bags and crates with products
• Work with the Managers and wider Team to achieve the department targets
• Ensure customer and company specifications are achieved
• Work to a clean as you go policy, ensuring your work area is kept clean and tidy
• Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.
• Be able to follow instructions and procedures
• Be safety conscious
• Have a flexible approach to work
• Have a commitment to quality work and reliability
• Be willing to gain new skills and experiences
