Process Operator Position

This Process Operator role is with a globally leading chemical manufacturing company that invests heavily in the successful candidate's career and personal development. The role offers a salary of £25,000 per annum and involves a day shift from 8am to 4pm, with some flexibility required to cover holidays or training courses, which may include working the 6am-2pm shift.

Responsibilities of a Process Operator include:
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment in support of manufacturing plans.
  • Operating plant and equipment, observing, and monitoring chemical reactions as detailed in written standard operating instructions.
  • Working to the highest safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance standards.

To succeed as a Process Operator, candidates should have an established technical background with experience in a production or operations environment on a COMAH site within chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Experience with HPLC / GC, Chemical Manufacturing, GMP, or holding an NVQ in Plant Operations would be advantageous.
