Job description

Production Process Operator Required. My Client is a leading Resin and Polymers manufacturer based in Wigan that supplies products to a range of industries globally. They are looking to employ a Production Operator to bolster their nights team. The ideal candidate will have production experience, ideally some exposure to either the chemical or plastics sector, and be based within a commutable distance of Wigan.

Production Process Operator - Weekend Nights Position Overview

1. Ensuring process and operational activities are carried out in compliance with SHEQ requirements
2. Manufacturing products in accordance with formulation Batch instructions and specification
3. Making accurate additions or adjustments to the manufacturing process
4. Completing necessary documentation
5. Undertaking FLT duties when required
6. Participating in Design / Hazard reviews

Production Process Operator - Weekend Nights Position Requirements

1. Previous experience in a production-focused role is essential
2. An understanding of Chemical processes would be advantageous
3. Experienced in the use of FLTs and holding the associated licenses
4. NVQ Level 2 qualified in Production / Engineering / Chemical
5. IOSH qualified would be highly advantageous
6. Experience with sampling and product testing would be beneficial
7. Based within a commutable distance of Wigan
8. Full UK Driving licence

£18.74 per hour

Friday - Sunday 18:00 - 06:00
