Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients' Severnside Dairy is seeking a Process Operative to support raw milk intake, milk processing and cream processing, including lab testing and duty on offload areas.

You will follow SOPs, operate processing equipment, and contribute to quality assurance and cost savings while collaborating with other production departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience in production within a food environment.
• Ability to operate processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to carry out lab tests and accurately record results.

Job description

We are currently looking to recruita Process Operative to join our Process Department at our Severnside Dairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the raw milk intake, fresh milk processing, cream processing, cream export reclaim area and chemical offload area.

In addition to carrying out lab testing to analyse, record and report lab results in relation to all required processing lab tests.

Contract:Full Time- Permanent

Salary: starting from £35,842.06 per annum

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2nights)

Location: Severnside

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Checking and recording of all relevant paperwork.
• Sampling and testing of raw products.
• Liaising with the other production departments.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Operate equipment and processes effectively, including asset care, maximising output, adherence to plan, waste reduction and cost savings
• Undertake any other duties as required.
