Job summary

Murray McIntosh Associates Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Process/Mechanical) for a Birmingham-based role within the Severn Trent framework. You will support accelerated works, coordinating mechanical and process packages from planning through installation, testing and commissioning.

The role requires strong mechanical/process engineering knowledge and experience delivering MEICA packages on live construction projects, with a focus on safe, compliant delivery and effective

Qualifications

• Experience in process or mechanical engineering within water/wastewater environments
• Strong mechanical/process engineering knowledge
• Experience delivering MEICA packages on live construction projects
• Good understanding of water/wastewater treatment processes and associated equipment
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of mechanical and process engineering packages.
• Coordinate with design, site, subcontractor and supply-chain teams.
• Review technical information, drawings, specifications and RAMS.
• Monitor progress against the programme and help resolve technical/site issues.
• Support procurement and management of mechanical equipment and subcontract packages.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and in accordance with project specifications.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, handover and project documentation.
• Provide technical support to the wider project delivery team.
