Severn Trent is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and technical delivery of major water treatment and clean water infrastructure projects from feasibility through to handover. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure designs meet safety, regulatory and operational requirements, and provide technical authority on assigned projects.

Based in our Finham office, Coventry, this permanent role requires Chartered Engineer status or clear progress toward

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• CEng status or active progress toward chartership.
• Strong experience in water treatment and clean water infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliver design success.

Responsabilités

• Lead the mechanical design and technical delivery of water treatment and clean water infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical leadership across feasibility to handover stages.
• Mentor engineers and designers; promote engineering excellence and best practice.
• Coordinate with Process, Civil, Structural, Electrical, ICA and Operations teams.
• Support reviews, ALM, HAZOP, constructability studies and value engineering.
