Job Description

A boutique consultancy assists senior leaders with urban renewal initiatives and organisational change programs. They are seeking Senior Consultants with strong project management skills and extensive experience in asset and investment within local government to join their team. Many of their projects focus on planning, regeneration, communications, implementing and managing change & transformation, and improving the lives of communities.

As a Senior Consultant, you will support your team in building compelling asset and investment business cases. You will liaise with various team members within the business, manage timelines, reporting, KPIs, and work closely with and manage relationships with various internal stakeholders ranging in seniority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and present strong business cases to support project initiatives.
• Provide expertise in asset and investment management within local government.
• Liaise with team members to ensure project timelines, reporting, and KPIs are met.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
• Contribute to planning, regeneration, and organisational change initiatives.

Requirements:

• Must have strong Management Consulting and project/programme management experience (c. 5 - 10 years' minimum).
• Extensive experience in process mapping, modelling, organisation transformation and PMO structuring.
• Asset and investment management within local government is a bonus.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong business case development skills.
• Resourceful, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Any knowledge and/or experience within regeneration, public policy, housing, and/or education markets would be advantageous.

Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: 4 days per week for 3 months - potential for extension
• Daily rate: Up to £400 PAYE
• Location: 2 days per week in Central London office
