Job summary

Avara Foods Ltd. is seeking a Process Leader at our Caistor site to help manage production processes and teams. You will work to meet safety, quality, productivity and cost targets in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The role requires leading training for new staff, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring KPI data is accurate and reported to management. Weekend uplift and overtime opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Organising and motivating production staff to meet KPI targets.
• Having responsibility for ensuring new staff are trained and developed in a timely manner.
• Offering insight and experience to help with continuous improvement.
• Achieving agreed quality standards and ensuring products are consistently meeting specifications.
• Ensuring KPI data is up to date, recorded and shared with management.
• Escalating any issue or potential issues to production management and planners.

About The Role

As a Process Leaderyou’ll play a key role in helping to manage production processes and production teams in order to meet safety, quality, productivity, training and cost targets agreed by the company.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
