Job summary

Perrigo Company plc is hiring an Operational Excellence professional to support the Continuous Improvement strategy on our pharmaceutical manufacturing site in the UK. You will lead cross-functional Lean Sigma initiatives, coach teams, and ensure compliant processes align with cGMP and MHRA requirements.

The role focuses on capability and capacity improvements, waste reduction, and deployment of foundational Lean tools across the site, including Kaizen events and 5S, to drive KPI improvements

Qualifications

• University degree; 2+ years in tablet/capsule manufacture or regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and MHRA regulatory requirements.
• Practical knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean management; continuous improvement experience beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels.
• Ability to translate deployment plans to shift teams to gain buy-in.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operational Excellence Manager in driving the CI strategy, using cross-functional teams to drive capability and capacity improvements across the site.
• Help build systems which drive Lean Sigma transformation and coach core values, principles and behaviours.
• Evaluate product quality through quantitative and qualitative data analysis to ensure processes meet critical attributes.
• Support investigations into complex deviations and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Facilitate PWS Phase Implementation Plan and KPI deployment; lead Kaizen events and waste elimination.
• Promote best practices across the site and deploy Lean tools at Braunton; coordinate with operations teams.
