Job summary

Convatec in the Rhymney area of Wales is seeking an entry-level Production Operator to produce wound care intermediates and operate process equipment. The role involves raw material handling, equipment operation, batch documentation, and supporting CI activities.

Training will be provided on GDP, GMP, and safety procedures. Role requires basic English and mathematics skills, adherence to procedures, and a proactive attitude to learn the Rhymney production processes.

Qualifications

• Basic skills (English and Mathematics)
• Understands and applies company procedures, EHS and GMP requirements
• Demonstrates competency and flexibility in core Rhymney production processes

Responsibilities

• Raw material handling and preparation.
• Operation of process equipment.
• Coaching and mentoring new operators in how to operate equipment and complete processes.
• Completion of batch documentation in line with GDP.
• Performance monitoring and basic fault finding of processes.
• Compliance with Operating procedures and GMP.
• Cleaning and general maintenance of the work area.
• Compliance with EHS requirements.
• Completed batch handling and packaging
• Coordinate CI activities, MIB, Kaizen and 5S
• Implement improvements following CI activities
• Maintain CI standards
