Job summary

Haleon invites you to join its Oral Health Process Engineering team in Weybridge & Bankside for a 12-month Industrial Placement starting July 2027. As a placement student you will help maintain oral care products, optimise formulations and processes, and contribute to global launches.

Ideal candidates are second/third-year students in chemical or related engineering, seeking an industry year in collaboration with their university. Exposure to real-world product development awaits.

Qualifications

• Education in chemical or related engineering disciplines is preferred.
• Undergraduate students must be in their 2nd year (England) or 3rd year (Scotland) or pursuing an integrated masters year in industry.
• Placement year requires suitability for Haleon projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in raw material, process, and technical risk assessments.
• Develop batch manufacturing instructions and experimental designs.
• Scale up processes from lab to pilot plant to full production.
• Support equipment and cleaning validation to uphold quality.
• Assist in formulation transfer and manufacturing validation at new sites.
