Job Description:

Stantec is working in partnership with a variety of clients to develop innovative, sustainable, and efficient solutions to their needs by applying genuinely new ways of working. We are looking for driven individuals who think differently and love to challenge conventional thinking to join us in a growing, collaborative team of like-minded engineers working to meet industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges.

Key to our future is the growth of our process team to support both water and wastewater sectors. We are excited by our growth prospects and are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Brighton team. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious team that offers professional development and career progression.

Based in the UK, you will lead challenging projects, working with our global experts to deliver innovative, sustainable, and efficient engineering solutions for clients and communities.

You will provide process design leadership in multidisciplinary project teams, coordinate and deliver process engineering designs, and lead digital delivery strategies, including process modelling, mass balances, P&IDs, and control philosophies, using appropriate software. You will also mentor and coach our team of process engineers to help them become leaders in their field.

About you

You should be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Chemical or Process Engineering or a relevant subject, with experience in the water industry, including water or wastewater sectors. Candidates with experience in both areas are preferred. Membership in a relevant engineering institution, such as IChemE, is required.

This role offers the chance to support projects across the UK and Ireland, with opportunities for global project involvement. You will lead process design efforts, develop and manage teams and tasks, and work closely with clients on-site and off-site.

As our business grows, there are many opportunities for career development across our expanding business lines.
