Stantec is working in partnership with a variety of clients to develop innovative, sustainable, and efficient solutions by applying new methods of working. We are seeking driven individuals who think differently and challenge conventional thinking to join our collaborative team of engineers addressing industry-wide efficiency and environmental challenges.

Our process team is expanding to support the water and wastewater sectors. We are excited about growth prospects and are looking for a Process Engineer in Brighton. This role offers opportunities for professional development and career progression within an ambitious team.

Based in one of our UK offices, you will lead projects, collaborating with global experts to deliver innovative, sustainable engineering solutions. Your responsibilities include providing process design leadership, coordinating process engineering designs, and leading digital delivery strategies using software for process modelling, mass balances, P&IDs, and control philosophies. Mentoring and coaching junior engineers will also be part of your role.

About you

You should have a degree (or equivalent) in Chemical or Process Engineering or a related field, with experience in the water industry, including water or wastewater sectors. Membership in a relevant engineering institution such as IChemE is required.

This is an excellent opportunity to support diverse projects across the UK and Ireland, with potential to engage in global projects. You will lead process design efforts, manage tasks, and work closely with clients both on and off-site. There are ample opportunities for growth within our expanding business lines.
