The Vacancy

Binnies, an RSK Group company, is looking for a Process Engineer (Water Non Infrastructure) to join us as part of our @one Alliance.

What will you be doing as our new Process Engineer?

As a Process Engineer in our Water Non-Infrastructure team, you’ll work closely with the project design team to develop process solutions that optimize plant performance, utilize standard designs, and adhere to @one engineering design standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Design processes for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants and water systems, aligning with Anglian Water's goals for customer service, environmental protection, and efficiency.
• Produce technical deliverables such as schedules, data sheets, and engineering calculations (hydraulic, pump, mass balance, RICS, etc.).
• Create specifications for engineering subcontracts and collaborate with the supply chain for technical bid analysis.
• Oversee process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump calculations, capacity assessments, and technical bid evaluations of third-party process equipment.
• Communicate effectively at all levels to ensure technical excellence is understood and implemented.
• Identify and escalate issues impacting time, cost, or quality before they escalate.
• Support health and safety standards, ensuring designs comply with CDM regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless interfaces and share best practices.

About your skills, experience, and behaviours:

You should have a degree in water/wastewater process science or engineering and experience in process engineering within water, wastewater, or biosolids treatment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with excellent IT skills to effectively deliver process engineering solutions.
