What will you be doing as our new Civil Engineer in WNI?

You’ll create and develop value-driven civil designs that achieve our capital investment programme outcomes and deliver value. Under the direction of the project Technical Manager, you'll deliver a range of Water Non-Infrastructure projects associated with potable water assets within the bounds of a water treatment works or storage site.

Key responsibilities:

1. Production of civil designs, calculations, and specifications for water-sector assets, including designing pipes such as ductile iron, steelwork, and plastic.
2. Working within multi-discipline design teams to produce designs that are on time, within budget, and meet required standards, liaising with stakeholders including Operations, contractors, and suppliers.
3. Drive excellence in Health and Safety in design by eliminating hazards and reducing risks during the design process, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
