Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Bradford is seeking a Process Engineer to drive productivity improvements across Retail and Ecommerce operations. You will validate productivity assumptions, support budget planning, and collaborate with Operations, Finance and Continuous Improvement teams.

The role leverages work study methodologies and data analysis to ensure performance is accurate, sustainable and commercially robust. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of industrial engineering, work study methodologies, PMT systems, and productivity measurement techniques.
• Experience applying Lean tools and continuous improvement in operational environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and build productivity models.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Power BI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships across the business.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and productivity assessments across direct, indirect, and departmental activities to support budget and operational planning
• Review, validate, and update productivity assumptions based on current performance and business requirements
• Analyse operational, layout, and process changes to determine their impact on productivity, cost KPIs, and service performance
• Support Continuous Improvement projects by validating process enhancements, efficiencies, and time-saving opportunities
• Identify waste within operational processes and recommend solutions that improve performance, productivity, and customer outcomes
