Ernest Gordon Recruitment is representing a manufacturing client in Andover, Hampshire seeking a Process Engineer (Manufacturing). The role offers £40,000–£45,000 plus 33 days holiday, bonus, life assurance and sick pay.

Based on a brand-new site with controlled production, you will drive continuous improvements across the electronics manufacturing process. You will support maintenance with PPMs, design trials for R&D, and write SOPs to optimise processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in highly controlled manufacturing environments.
• Strong track record in process improvement and SOP writing.
• Willing to work Monday–Friday with standard shift times and be able to support a new site.

In this role you will driving continuous improvement throughout the electronics manufacturing process by supporting the Production, Maintenance, and Quality Teams. You will assist with technical issues, train and develop staff, and write SOP to optimise the manufacturing process.

Founded nearly 40 years ago, this manufacturer supplies their specialist products into industries such as aerospace, automotive, and medical, with trusted clients across the globe. They have experienced unprecedented growth over recent years and have a clear direction for the future with a new site opened recently.

This role would suit a Process, Manufacturing, Production Engineer or similar, perhaps from automotive, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing, looking to have a positive influence and drive improvement within an ambitious company producing state-of-the-art components.

The Role:

• Driving continuous improvement for the electronics manufacturing process
• Supporting Maintenance with PPMs, designing trials for R&D, and writing SOPs
• Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5pm, finish at 3:30pm on Friday

The Person:

• Process, Manufacturing, Production Engineer or similar
• Experience working in a highly controlled environment (automotive, aerospace, electronics)
