Job summary

Cytiva in Ilfracombe, UK, is hiring a Production Engineer (internal Process Engineer title) to lead engineering projects that improve manufacturing capabilities on site, ensuring reliable processes and compliant change control.

You will collaborate with Operations, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to deliver technical improvements, apply GMP and risk assessment tools, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an engineering project environment and with project management techniques.
• Proactive in applying structured problem solving tools (DMAIC, PSP) to translate complex problems into actionable plans.
• Good communication skills to clearly articulate technical and project issues to stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated environments (GMP) and owning change control including risk assessment (dFMEA/pFMEA or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects and initiatives to improve manufacturing capabilities and process reliability.
• Provide ownership and input into structured problem solving within the project engineering team.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering/Product Engineering and Quality.
• Research and learn processes, tools and technologies to deliver project objectives.
